I found this blog through the Five Brothers blog, and was incredibly impressed. Mark Mabry, an independent photographer, went to a Women for Mitt event in Arizona, where he spent the afternoon photographing Ann Romney, who was the main speaker and star, of course, of the event.
Here is a brief synopsis of what Mark said on his site about the event and Ann:
“Today, I photographed a luncheon as part of the Women for Mitt kickoff. The festivities began and there were about 20 guests invited to be photographed with Mrs. Romney. Photographing the same person 20 times next to 20 different people is a lesson in psychology for one willing to learn it. Here’s what I mean. I watched Mrs. Romney throughout the session (about 25 minutes). She is not a fake laugher or insincere on any level.”
He goes on from there, but the true amazing part of the blog was the video he put together of the photos that he took, set to some amazing, peaceful piano music. It is a wonderful video, and well worth your time to watch.
