He entered last, he left first**. I think in a lot of ways, that sums up his run for presidency. I don’t know that Fred ever really had his heart in it.

I have been reading the polls and the articles, and I keep thinking that if, heaven forbid, McCain wins the Republican nomination and Obama wins the Democratic nomination, well, we might as well pack our bags and go home. The chances of winning the presidency at that point are almost nil.
